Old Man Winter
Some good local fishing going on in spite Ol' Man Winter... (Who??)
Fisherman's Landing 20 Anglers, 1 Boat, 78 Yellowtail, 242 Rockfish, 80 Lingcod
H&M Landing 58 Anglers, 2 Boats, 1 Bonito, 446 Rockfish, 79 Lingcod, 163 Yellowtail, 2 Whitefish
Point Loma Sportfishing 7 Anglers, 1 Boat, 1 Sculpin, 39 Rubberlip Seaperch, 2 Sand Bass
Seaforth Sportfishing 58 Anglers, 3 Boats, 27 Yellowtail
Down south, the Sierra (I call them "mini-wahoo" because they are fast, toothy and are so tasty) are making their normal winter appearance. Tough windy and wet conditions have kept the fleet mostly inshore, though reports from the commercial guys indicate lots of bait and yellowtail...especially at Cerralvo Island.
