Lots of productive trips out of San Diego this weekend. Fishing the Hurricane Bank on a 15-day trip, the Red Rooster III is getting Wahoo and big Yellowfin Tuna to 250 pounds right now.

The long-range boats doing damage in the dead of winter is normal, but closer to home it's been a remarkable year and continues to roll.

24 Anglers aboard the Eclipse 2.5 Day trip south to Colonet Loaded up with 35 Vermilion Rockfish, 95 Lingcod, 240 California Yellowtail, 110 Rockfish caught

The Tribute 1.5 Day trip down the coast with 33 Anglers aboard reported 40 Yellowtail, 180 Rockfish and 30 Lingcod in the hold

28 Anglers aboard the Aztec 1.5 Day Colonet run boated 51 Rockfish, 16 Lingcod and 104 Yellowtail

The New Seaforth 1/2 Day AM had 80 anxious anglers out on the hunt to only find 3 Yellowtail Hope those folks saw some whales. They did a little better for their 45 anglers on the 1/2 Day PM run, returning with 19 Yellowtail, 2 Barred Sand Bass and 1 Halibut in the gunnysacks

Just doin' it, the Vagabond's 28 Anglers caught limits of 140 Rockfish and 140 Yellowtail on their 1.5 Day trip to Colonet

The only San Diego boat to report from the bite at Cortez Bank, the Invicta with 20 Anglers aboard their 1.5 Day run out called in with 66 Bluefin Tuna

10 hoop-netters aboard the Jig Strike 1/2 Day Twilight run raised a few bugs, with 7 Spider Crab, 2 California Spiny Lobster, 61 California Spiny Lobster Released

Fishing the kelp edge on the anchor, the Premier 1/2 Day AM run took out 27 Anglers that caught 8 Sculpin, 2 Barred Sand Bass, 21 Halfmoon and 1 Kelp Bass. 15 Anglers rode out on their PM run and returned with 12 Sculpin, 40 Halfmoon, 5 Barred Sand Bass, 4 Kelp Bass, 1 Halibut and 14 Lingcod

33 Anglers aboard the Pacific Queen 1.5 Day trip put 22 Lingcod, 103 Yellowtail and 35 Rockfish in the hold
