The Bad Plus adds saxophonist Joshua Redman for a show at the Music Box (formerly known as Anthology) in Little Italy (1337 India Street) at 8:00 p.m. Tickets range from $25 to $50 to $100 for a VIP meet-and-greet.

Wednesday 9
Gilbert Castellanos begins his two-gig evening at Panama 66 (1450 El Prado) by hosting the Young Lions Series this week featuring Wesley Etienne. After that, he leads the Latin jam session from 8:30 to 11:30 p.m. No cover, all-ages, musicians bring your instruments!
