Vocalist Leonard Patton is hosting a CD-release party for his Beautiful Day disc at Northern Spirits (727 W. San Marcos Boulevard) with two shows at 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. Patton will be joined by Peter Sprague, Bobby Cressey, Harley Magsino and Duncan Moore. $10 cover charge… the Ruby Duo return to Croce’s Park West.

This week’s star of Gilbert CastellanosYoung Lions Series at Croce’s Park West is tenor saxophonist Nathan Collins fronting a band with Antar Martin, Fernando Gomez, and Paul Raini Castelluzzo.
