Otis Williams at Proud Mary’s Southern Bar & Grill (5500 Kearny Mesa Road) from 6:30 to 9:30 it’s free and family friendly … trumpeter Gilbert Castellanos hosts the Young Lions Series at Croce’s Park West (2760 Fifth Avenue) this week spotlighting Hugo Suarez. Castellanos plays the first set, then heads over to Seven Grand (3054 University Avenue) for the Latin Jazz Jam with Irving Flores, Mike Holguin, and Charlie Chavez. Music starts at 9:00 p.m. no cover, musicians bring your instruments!
