On Tuesday (October 14), a jury in federal court on Long Island found Anthony Knight liable for securities fraud and selling unregistered securities. The Securities and Exchange Commission said that more than 350 investors had put $2.3 million into the scheme.
Knight had run a failed Long Island internet startup, IShopNoMarkup.com and peddled the securities to finance it. Knight now lives in San Diego.
