Noteworthy: Two pods of Orca have been sighted in the last two days just off the Southern California coast in the San Diego area. One of the pods is the same pod that was sighted in TJ playas within 100 yards of shore last week. Sighting one pod in SoCal is rare. Biologists believe the El Nino conditions and resulting abundant food is why the Orca are in an area where they aren't often found.
