Santee Lakes continue to produce good stocked trout fishing up to 7 pounds. 23 out of 40 specially tagged Rainbow Trout have been caught so far, leaving a few prizes yet to be claimed.

For their trout opener last Saturday, Lake Jennings was stocked with 4,000 pounds of Nebraska Tailwalkers and Sierra Bows, all ranging from 2 to 12 pounds. In spite of the 600 Anglers that came for the opener, trout are still biting strong.
