Sledding with Tigers are going folk-punk for A Necessary Bummer, due April 15 from Antique Records.
Prog-punkers Dead as Dillinger are dropping their Mad Man EP on April 25 at the Ken Club. “Our last recording was back in 2006 at Capricorn Studios,” says singer/bassist Roman Terenzini. “We have a ton of original material, but, like most, we are a band on a budget.” The bill also includes Bella Novela and Like Shatter Diamonds.
Having been dropped by the Epic label, Augustana signed a multi-album deal with Washington Square (the Hold Steady, Deaf Havana), which will release their fourth studio album Life Imitating Life on April 22. A spring tour with Twin Forks and Chris Carrabba hits Soma on April 27.
