The California Fair Political Practices Commission has fined Arizona lobbyist Gary Husk $5000 for an illegal contribution to the 2005 campaign of candidate Jerry Sanders, who went on to become mayor.
Husk, former lobbyist for the Holiday Bowl, claims an employee of a now-defunct firm gave $300 to Sanders and Husk just wants to put the matter behind him, according to the Phoenix Business Journal. Husk has been in trouble for his dubious activities while lobbyist for the Holiday Bowl.
