Disclosure records made public by NBC television affiliate KNSD show that the so-called House Majority super PAC recently purchased 238 30-second spots for $159,250, to run from September 29 through November 3.
The liberal billionaire is the largest donor to House Majority this election cycle, kicking in a cool $1 million. Big labor has also given substantially. Though the KNSD documents don’t mention it, the PAC has not made a secret of targeting GOP congressional candidates, including Republican ex–San Diego city councilman Carl DeMaio, the Peters foe who is a favorite of the billionaire anti-union Koch brothers of Wichita, Kansas.
