Twin brothers Anthony Donald Casias and Leo Ronald Casias Jr. on Friday (January 17) were sentenced to prison for defrauding local sports fans. Customers paid their L&T Sports Events Inc. money for travel, lodging, transportation, and game tickets for sporting events, such as a Chargers away game.
But according to evidence introduced in court, customers may have gotten airline tickets but little else. Over a dozen local Chargers fans paid to see the team play in Chicago, and transportation was about all they got. The twins also made unauthorized credit-card charges on at least four people's credit cards.
Anthony Casias got 36 months in custody and Leo Casias got 33 months.
