Celebrate New Years Eve with Gilbert Castellanos and the Park West Ensemble at Croce’s Park West (2760 Fifth Avenue) from 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. In addition to the music, a three-course dinner package is part of the festivities, all for $95 plus tax and a service charge. Contact Evelyn@Croce’sParkWest.com to purchase tickets … or you can head to the Turf Supper Club (1116 25th Street) to catch the Dove/ Kornhauser Duo featuring Robert Dove on saxophones and Ed Kornhause on keyboards. They’ll be playing from 11:00 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. or so, and it’s free!

Trumpeter Castellanos links up with visiting guitarist Tommy Holladay and bassist Rob Thorsen for an intimate night of close listening at the Westgate Hotel (1055 Second Avenue) from 8:00 p.m. There is no cover charge, but there is a $20 food/drink minimum.

Sunday 4
Get your jazz jam on with the Matt Smith Neu Jazz Trio featuring Smith on drums, with Mackenzie Leighton on bass and Ed Kornhauser on keyboards at 98 Bottles (2400 Kettner Boulevard) from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. No cover … trombonist/vocalist Lizzi Trumbore plays Dizzy’s (4275 Mission Bay Drive) with guitarist Peter Sprague, vocalist Leonard Patton and bassist Harley Magsino at 8:00 p.m. $15 cover.
