Dear Hipster:
When is it too late to send a thank-you note?
— Lily
You know how they say, “If you have to ask if something is racist, then it’s probably racist?” Well, this is kind of the same thing. Late is late. Fortunately for you, racism and thank-you notes don’t fall under the same restrictions. Racism is a terrible social woe that plagues contemporary American society, despite what any number of social pundits will tell you. Thank-you notes, on the other hand, are just plain nice to receive, belated or otherwise. Better still if they are handcut from vintage tissue paper, stenciled with the recipient’s name, and calligraphed with fair-trade India ink actually from India.
