A young driver had an unexpected scare on Sunday, October 27, when her car went over a small embankment and nearly crashed into an apartment building near the corner of Colusa and Mildred streets in the Morena district (next to Bay Park).
According to witnesses, the female driver was pulling out of a parking spot on Colusa Street and accidentally pushed the gas instead of the brake. The mistake made her vehicle swipe a parked truck and then hop over a curb before going down a small embankment and stopping inches from the side of an apartment building.
No one was injured and the car had only minor damages.
