Authorities have released a photo and are looking for assistance from the public in identifying a man who robbed a Subway restaurant on the 600 block of Sweetwater Road in Spring Valley last week.
On August 22 at around 12:40 a.m., a black male adult entered the store wearing a knit ski mask, brandished a handgun, and ordered an employee to open the cash register. The suspect left after clearing out the register, but a video surveillance camera at a nearby business captured his face after he removed the mask.
Anyone with information on the robber’s identity can contact San Diego County Crime Stoppers at their anonymous tip line, (888) 580-8477. As always, a reward of up to $1000 is offered for information leading to an arrest.
