The La Jolla Music Society is taking its Summerfest to a new level of intimacy with a concert at The Loft on the campus of UCSD. Audience members will be practically sitting on the musician’s laps during the performances.
Music director Cho-Liang Lin will be joined by a select group of musicians to play music by the likes of Debussy, Bartok, Ives, and Villa-Lobos.
There will be food and beverages available from Zanzibar Cafe before the performances.
This is the type of setting for which chamber music was originally intended and it should be a delightful experience for everyone involved.
