The Catholic priest’s new title will be “president emeritus,” and Father Joe will concentrate on fund-raising only. The current management team will continue daily operations.
It’s been said lately that pastor Miles McPherson and the Rock Church in Point Loma will help out at Father Joe's Villages, donating volunteers, services, and outreach to the downtown charity. In a sermon by Pastor McPherson on Sunday, April 3, a "Do Something" “marriage of convenience” between Father Joe's and the Rock Church was mentioned as a possibility.
