A small protest was held in front of the Family Court at 1555 Sixth Avenue in downtown San Diego on Friday, November 13.
A sign leaning against a planter read, “STOP giving kids to abusers!” One of the protesters, Cindy D., was passing out blue flyers. She held a sign that read, “Join Our Family Court Protest Fridays 9-11 a.m. Stand With Us Against Injustice.”
Cindy D. said she was protesting because a judge was trying to force her son to live with his abuser. She said she and other people who have had similar problems with the Family Court plan to protest in front of the building every Friday.
