A couple of would-be dope dealers from San Diego — aged 25 and 33 years old — were busted on Thursday, July 2, in Tijuana´s Colonia Libertad.
The bust by Tijuana cops was announced by la Secretaría de Seguridad Pública Municipal, who stated that one smuggler had plastic bags of pot taped to each leg, while the other had a bag containing two bags of marijuana and an amount heroin. Exact amounts were not released.
Both of the arrestees admitted that they came to Tijuana to buy drogas to smuggle into the U.S. for resale. The two smugglers were handcuffed and made to pose in fetal positions in the open bed of a police pick-up truck before being driven off for judicial processing.
