"I'm going to replace her."
Belly Up Tavern owner Steve Goldberg says he will miss Diana Martinez, who is leaving her position as Belly Up talent buyer after ten years. Not counting owner/founder Dave Hodges, the Belly Up has only had two talent buyers in its 30-year history. Mac Falk, who died at age 43 in 1995 from a heart attack, and Martinez.
Goldberg says Martinez is going to work for the House of Blues. He is still looking for someone to oversee the booking of local talent.
