Hey, Guys:
A few pitches for University Heights promotion... The business district runs between signs ("The Boulevard" to "Normal Heights"), about the last third of Park and the beginning of Adams:
University Heights
- "Let's Go to Breakfast!" or "Brunch: It's Not Just Sunday Anymore..." (Cafe on Park, Gulf Coast Grill, Parkhouse Eatery, Adams Avenue Grill, Antique Row Cafe, am I missing anybody?)
- "Break the Corporate Coffeehouse Monopoly" (Underground Coffee, Korova, Sip This, Twiggs, Retro Café)
- "Just Say No to Home Depot" (Rugs, Antiques, Tables, and Chairs in Asian, Classic, Contemporary, Retro, Modern)
- "Who Says We're Anti-American?" (Multilingual restaurants include Persian, Korean, Vegetarian, non-Old Town Mexican, non-Little Italy Italian, plus Soup or Salad!)
- "Maybe We Are, Maybe We Aren't" (gay bars for straight people, straight bars for gay people: from the anachronistic corner dark bar to the "French Quartered" outdoors-is-indoors...Bourbon Street, Lancers, Cheers)
- "Educational Diversity: Let Me Count the Ways" (a Zen Center, a Massage College, a Theater, a Performance Space)
- "Cutting Costs: More Corner-to-Corner Hair Care to Shake Your Shag" (Shearz, Axle, Salon du Mei, the Parlour)
Let me know...or get me rewrite!
