You don't have to own a boat to belong to this club, which is considered the least pretentious (and least expensive) yacht club in town. For about 70 bucks a month, members have access to all club activities, including Monday Night Football, holiday brunches, Friday night dinners, and informal races. Plenty of stuff for the kids, too. The club has a few loaner boats, but other members are often looking for crew volunteers. Novices are welcome to participate in the regattas, where a "Corinthian" tradition (meaning "not cutthroat") prevails.
