Take an hour or two to visit the 15 sculptures that make up this collection and you'll get a good introduction to the layout of the local academic powerhouse. The art includes something for everyone. Niki de Saint Phalle's flamboyant Sun God may be the most obvious crowd-pleaser, but Terry Allen's communicative trees, Richard Fleischner's granite blocks, Jenny Holzer's opinionated table, Nam June Paik's ruined televisions, Alexis Smith's Snake Path, and William Wegman's wry scenic panorama are also standouts. To find them all, you'll need a map. The two campus information booths (on Gilman Drive and Northview Drive) usually have Stuart Collection brochures and also sell parking permits, or you can print out a map from the website.
