Adjacent to their catering operation, Waters has opened a take-out café with dishes that you can grab for a quick lunch or an easy dinner that will impress. On any given night, you might find five or six different main courses like butternut squash lasagna ($9/lb.), portobello Napolean ($10/lb.), or duck confit with wild mushrooms ($12.50/lb.). Serve them up alongside a nice salad of garden greens, candied pecans, vine-ripened tomatoes, and goat cheese ($5), or roasted garlic mashed potatoes ($2). Or try a sandwich -- you have several choices including roasted free-range turkey, Gruyère cheese, pesto aïoli, and sprouts on rosemary bread, or grilled portobello, truffle mayo, roasted red peppers, and crisp onions on focaccia (all are $5.75). Don't forget the Valrhona chocolate brownies for dessert ($2). The café is closed Sundays and Mondays.
