Michael Blood

A San Diego native, Blood was one of the first dealers in the world to sell some of the rare and beautiful objects from space on a website. Although the number of online meteorite vendors has since exploded, Blood's business is thriving. Most of his interactions with buyers take place via e-mail and telephone, but he'll meet with serious potential customers who are local. Recent offerings: an $8000 eucrite found in Morocco in 2000; the second-to-last meteorite to fall in the United Kingdom (in 1965) for $2500; and first choice of most new collectors: small ($40 to $80) pieces of the Canyon Diablo meteor that created the famous Arizona Meteor Site.
