Salsipuedes
About 50 miles south of the border
"It's just a little turnoff on the road to Ensenada, about midway through that little mountainous section," explains Vern. "You come around this corner and there's an olive grove in this canyon. It's really cool in this one big area where they have olive trees. It's pretty flat, but it's important that you have on mountain-bike tires because there are all kinds of things that can pop ya. You can drink beer and smoke...There's a lady there that sells firewood. You can buy fish tacos at this little stand. A kid comes around with a wheelbarrow full of candy, all these sweets...Not only Mexican candy, but they had yogurt-covered pretzels, peanuts, and M&Ms."
