Accepting only senile dementia patients, the residents at this 52-bed facility are allowed free range, which includes a fenced patio area with trees and grass. The staff members don't seem to mind if the residents wander into staff meetings or sleep in each other's beds. There are finches, cockatiels, and a live-in dog. Rates are $4500 a month. Medi-Cal patients accepted.
