Davis Dance School's bimonthly salsa dance parties from 8:30 to 10:30 p.m., following an hour lesson at 7:30 p.m., are the site for salsa with sabor (flavor)! About 100 advanced and beginner salsaholics can be found working on their old moves, adding fresh moves, and meeting new dance partners. Upon entering you are hit with the sultry pulsing sounds of Latin music and the sight of women in seductive outfits being spun by partners in dark attire. If you're fortunate, you can catch a dance and the intricate footwork of former Latin competitive dancer and owner, Michael Snyder -- muy caliente! Sundays there are practice sessions and Latin workshops, with visits from Latin dance coaches. You can work on other Latin dances, ballroom, and swing during weekday evening lessons.
