Campfire spooky story about the Indian burial ground that resuscitates corpses. As simple yet messy as one improvised, though it is based on a typed, presumably proofread, and published novel. (Typical of Stephen King's regard for his audience that he would misspell the title three ways to be sure they "get it.") The pre-school zombie at the climax isn't apt to frighten anyone much older than himself, and the movie has better luck (infrequent luck) when attempting to be gruesomely humorous. With Dale Midkiff, Denise Crosby, and Fred Gwynne; directed by Mary Lambert. (1989) — Duncan Shepherd
