Optimistically titled gangster farce. (Hoped-for critical blurbs: "Oscar's a winner!" "Oscar is the best!" "Oscar, meet Mr. Price and Mr. Waterhouse.") Some of the actors -- Peter Riegert, Tim Curry, Chazz Palminteri, particularly -- get a lot of chewing out of the driest old bones: mistaken identities, switched satchels, etc., etc. Undignified, even oafish, but not uningratiating, the humor is pretty well summed up in the moment when Sylvester Stallone, at a peak of confusion and exasperation, pounds his own head repeatedly on his desk. With Vincent Spano, Marisa Tomei, Ornella Muti; directed by John Landis. (1991) — Duncan Shepherd
