Coyly girlish romance (written by Diane Drake), dealing with soul mates, destiny, happiness ever after, and other pajama-party topics: it catches a wave in the wake of Sleepless in Seattle, and Norman Jewison throws in several shots of the night sky to remind you that he once directed Moonstruck. The frigid chemistry between a couple of narcissistic clothes horses (Marisa Tomei, Robert Downey, Jr.) doesn't lend credibility. Bonnie Hunt, however, makes a swell bosom buddy.
