Comedy-fantasy about a Twenties flapper who was killed on her way to a screen test for D.W. Griffith and who now possesses the body (off and on) of a contemporary San Franciscan. This is as embarrassing for us as for the demure diosesan secretary whose body it is, and for her bookish husband (who is faced with the sticky fidelity question of making love to another woman although the same body). The lead actress, Glenn Close, doesn't seem to mind, though. And our admiration, if not our envy, goes out to her. With Mandy Patinkin and Ruth Gordon; directed by Paul Aaron.
