Madeleine, 92 years old, can no longer stay alone at home. Charles, a cab driver, comes to take her to an old folks homeon the other side of Paris. Madeleine asks Charles to go through the places in the capital that counted in her life. We discover little by little the destiny of Madeleine who, under the influence of a violent husband, rebelled.
