A somewhat risky title to set in front of someone who might have gotten a bit sick of the whole Pink Panther series, and who had assumed that the death of Peter Sellers would have brought about a deliverance. Ted Wass, who seems to be trying out for only the Clark Kent half of the Superman role, is the man chosen to follow in the footsteps, in a couple of senses, of Sellers/Clouseau. It is in both senses a hopeless job. With Herbert Lom, David Niven, Robert Wagner, Robert Loggia; directed by Blake Edwards. (1983) — Duncan Shepherd
