The family of pointy-headed aliens from Saturday Night Live -- a monotonous bunch at a length of a few minutes -- is dug up and then run into the ground for ninety. (Well, it sure beats having to think up a new idea.) The replacement of Laraine Newman with Michelle Burke as the daughter is the extent of the excitement. That, and a return trip to the home planet, where Newman makes a token appearance amid a splash of special effects. With Dan Aykroyd, Jane Curtin, Michael McKean, and a host of TV comedians, mostly from SNL, in bit-parts and cameos; directed by Steve Barron. (1993) — Duncan Shepherd
