Pleasantly inane political thriller, with Charles Bronson a reluctant bodyguard to the First Lady -- or as she is known in the trade, "One Mama," or as she is more informally known to those aware of her views on women's rights, "Madame Battle-axe" and "the Iron Maiden": "Let's just say you're gonna miss the hell out of Nancy Reagan." To be sure, no one tried to blow up Nancy Reagan on Inauguration Day, and kept on trying with a futility approximate to that of Wile E. Coyote: not especially conducive to mounting suspense. With Jill Ireland; directed by Peter Hunt. (1987) — Duncan Shepherd
