Yiddish for Beginners Classes
This class series focuses on conversational Yiddish and will include everyday greetings, common idioms, and the basics of grammar. We will also learn a few Yiddish songs. There will be 6 sessions. Address: House of Israel, Balboa Park Dates: 10/20, 10/27, 11/03, 11/10, 11/17, and 11/24 Time: 5.00 - 6.00 p.m. Cost: The class will cost $70 for the whole series or $15 for an individual session. Lecturer: Jana Mazurkiewicz Meisarosh, Ph.D. candidate in Yiddish studies at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and a founder of YAAANA. All YAAANA classes are for all ages and family-friendly!
