One of this year's most ambitious plays. Lindsey Ferrentino shows us how we got where we are by moving backward in time from today (literally) to 2000. The play follows a diverse family through each New Year's Eve. The latter makes for a hard sit, especially in act one. Setting one's clock back each year requires an adjustment, as does wondering what's important in a scene. Overall the play beams on and off. Individual scenes and performances, however, are memorable. And the themes raise important questions from a theatrically unique perspective.
