Explore the stories of women activists, artists, politicians, and everyday woman of the LGBT movement from the 1960s through 1990ss. Showcased in the gallery are artifacts from grassroots activism like the Blood SIsters who organized blood drives in response to the AIDS epidemic, local LGBT women politicians, and community spaces like the Paradigm Bookstore and the Women's Music Festival. This exhibit highlights how within tragedy and oppression, strong community and culture can emerge.
