Intertwining plotlines and well-timed character reveals take center stage in Steven Dietz's drama. The beauty of the play is that it's not random. The eight characters fall in -- and out -- of each other's lives with purpose. Embracing mortality is a major theme, as one character learns she doesn't have much time left. Another tries to take her own life in aRomeo & Juliettwist. Unfortunately the story line is left dangling with no resolution. The ensemble cast is solid, though at times difficult to hear. Diana Irvine is the breakout performance, haunting and raw in her portrayal of Claire.Worth a try.
