Lamb's Players has turned Carlo Goldoni's commedia-like farce into a musical comedy. The intermissionless piece makes for an always lively, often funny entertainment. The ensemble cast (four married couples in real life) does admirable work. But the headliner is Geno Carr. He plays the harried servant, Truffeldino, in an exaggerated style and deftly shows that the most burdened character in the commedia is the freest actor on stage.
Worth a try.
