Olivenhain Haunted Hotel
The 18th Annual Olivenhain Haunted Hotel, presented by Boy Scout Troop 2000. Take a frightful tour through the 132-year-old Germania Hotel, next to the Old Olivenhain Meeting Hall on the corner of Rancho Santa Fe Road at 7th Street. The several haunted rooms of the hotel were designed and constructed by boy scouts and all the house managers, actors, and guides are scouts, friends, and family members. There are three different scare levels – friendly, low, and high scare. See Dr. Frankenstein's working laboratory and see the monster come alive. A halloween hearse outside will rumble with animated skeletons. New this year is the Candy Mystery Trail, an interactive trick-or-treat experience geared for younger audiences. There will be large theater in the woodsthat will show free Halloween cartoon movies.
