Long-held secrets and family conflicts are just some of the dilemmas present in Marley Sims and Elliot Shoeman's comedy at Scripps Ranch Theatre. Erick Popplck directs with a deft professional hand, though there seems to be an overly reverent regard for the script, which could use some tightening. While the script has much to recommend it, especially with the theme of long-held family secrets and conflicts, it's a case of throwing in too many issues for one play to handle. But this is an entertaining show, charmingly produced, and well acted by Carm Greco, Brenda Adelman, Charles Peters, Connie Terwilliger, and Haig Koshkarian. Worth a try.
