Hey, don't dream it. Go be it at Cygnet Theatre. Frank N Furter, the "sweet transvestite from Transsexual Transylvania," invites you to one of his affairs -- and "maybe a bite" -- on a dark and stormy night. Cygnet's giving the cult movie a live, infectious, and mad-dash production. Director Sean Murray stars as Frank, with a commanding presence and fluid gender flexibility. But this is truly an ensemble show. There are no weak links, anywhere, and many voices are stronger than the original. The show encourages audience participation. You can even purchase a kit. But the theater cautions buyers: "Please see a doctor if your props last longer than four hours." Critic's Pick.
