Is far from ordinary. Staged by InnerMission Productions in an intimate black box, the show starts offslow but quickly evolves into a touching study of the lives of four Manhattan residents. Jason and Claire are at a crossroads in their relationship, while Warren and Deb struggle to find their place in the crowded city. The storylines parallel and a moving ending unites them.The sparse set allows the audience to focus on the actors and their voices, which stay strong through the 90-minute musical. A tough feat for a small cast and few spoken words.Worth a try.
