In Jason Wells' "dark comedy," America is under martial law. The police station at a small Missouri town continues to defendits jurisdiction. Local lush Tanya and Administrative Officer Shonda meet a whistleblower in lock-up. He has top secret documents that could evict the repressive regime inD.C. and save the country. Tina Machele Brown amuses as Shonda, and Samantha Ginn's high-energy performance at Tanya carries the show, sometimes outpacing her castmates. Director Isaac Fowler and the actors capture the humor but seem to miss the heavy truth of how revolution starts.Worth a try.
