The Lemon Grove Historical Society presents "An American Family," 17 paintings by Kathleen Strzelecki depicting the story of one family from its roots on a South Dakota farm to life in Southern California. She works in mixed media on canvas (oils with extensive collage) in a large format. Her many awards for her emotionally charged work include a 2014 Governor's Award for the Lemon Grove History Mural.
