Ken Ludwig's farce takes place in one day, with enough pratfalls and faux pas for many a nightmare. A touring theatrical troupe's reached the end of the road. As has the marriage of George and Charlotte Hay. They're stuck in Buffalo ("which is like Scranton, but without the charm"). Low and behold, Frank Capra, the great movie director, is coming to see them! That's the tipping -- make that tripping -- point for the shenanigans that follow.
