In his unusual new play, Jordan Harrison explores the mysteries of human identity. The story is set in the future -- probably the mid-21st century. Eighty-five-year-old Marjorie's companion is a facsimile of her late husband Walter. Only he's 30 years old. Essaying the part of Marjorie, Dee Maaske gives us a delightfully feisty aging mother, who can be brutally honest if necessary. Elaine Rivkin plays her daughter Tess in an effectively realistic manner. Director Matthew Wiener serves the play with a deft hand, highlighting much important subtext throughout. Worth a try.
